I was hoping we could move my loved one into this nice community. The staff we met were nice and the community was clean. They have nurses that are able to take vitals. The meals are wonderful and the variety keeps mom happy. They offer super care and do make sure they keep their clients on a daily schedule for meals and medications as needed. Savannah Court of Haines City works with you as much as they can.
We selected this because one of the floors is devoted to the Indian community, so they serve Indian food, they have Indian doctors and nurses, and the language and everything is there for him. They're very professional and so far, we love the staff. The food's spice level is medium and he likes spicy food, but it's decent. They've been doing a lot of different activities. They usually do something different every week.

The communication isn't the best here, there was a time they closed the doors for intake and didn't let any of the family know. I've had no real problems except with the food. It seems like they don't care what they serve. We chose Brookdale Winter Haven because what they had promoted about activities in the memory care unit.
